Via MetaFilter, some viral marketing for the upcoming Batman film. We start with the Gotham Times, and then get the Ha Ha Times as re-edited by the Joker. I particularly like how the ads, which seem rather normal on the first go-round, become incredibly sinister in the Joker’s version — even when the text has been left unaltered. Every nerd movie with half a budget includes some sort of obligatory viral marketing piece nowadays, but it’s still nice to see it done pretty well.
